Assisted Readymades, Revisited

2014 - Present

A response to Marcel Duchamp’s historic appropriation of a mass-manufactured object as his own artwork, sometimes with small modification or “assistance.”

The found objects in my series are discarded notes picked up from the sidewalk: A message for a friend, a reminder for oneself, often more cryptic.
